DESCRIPTION:Once again\, OCC is hosting a consequential Town Hall event in the historic Fort\nGreene/Clinton Hill Emmanuel Baptist Church\, Tuesday September 24\, 2024 at\n6:30pm. \nYou’ll not want to miss it! We hope you’ll attend & shine a light on the\nconversations and concerns happening outside the control of the narrowly\nfocused lobbyists and special interests exclusively guiding NYC and NYS\ntransportation policy and the NYC/DOT Street Redesigns running roughshod into\nour communities. \nAmong the items on the Peoples’ Court Hearing agenda: \n \n\nA witness will be called to address MTA absence of information on bus\nroutes and growing inadequacy of public transportation for New Yorkers\n A former FDNY Fire Lieutenant witness will delve into the dangerous\ndelays in emergency access.\nAn “Open Streets” witness will discuss the streets designs gone wrong!\nThe DOT & the MTA claim will be challenged by a final ‘witness’ who will point out the overwhelming contradictions-a reality check!\n\nWe’ve invited the community to weigh the evidence and render their verdict. \nWe’ve also invited the Defendants repeatedly to show up in prior hearings…they either didn’t answer our questions or were no-shows. \nWe cordially invite all to join us. \nEvent Details:\nTuesday\, September 24\, 2024 @ 6:30pm\nEmmanuel Baptist Church\n279 Lafayette Ave\nBrooklyn\, NY 11238
