THE PEOPLE v. DOT AND THE MTA

Once again, OCC is hosting a consequential Town Hall event in the historic Fort
Greene/Clinton Hill Emmanuel Baptist Church, Tuesday September 24, 2024 at
6:30pm.

You’ll not want to miss it! We hope you’ll attend & shine a light on the
conversations and concerns happening outside the control of the narrowly
focused lobbyists and special interests exclusively guiding NYC and NYS
transportation policy and the NYC/DOT Street Redesigns running roughshod into
our communities.

Among the items on the Peoples’ Court Hearing agenda:

• A witness will be called to address MTA absence of information on bus
  routes and growing inadequacy of public transportation for New Yorkers
•  A former FDNY Fire Lieutenant witness will delve into the dangerous
  delays in emergency access.
• An “Open Streets” witness will discuss the streets designs gone wrong!
• The DOT & the MTA claim will be challenged by a final ‘witness’ who will point out the overwhelming contradictions-a reality check!

We’ve invited the community to weigh the evidence and render their verdict.

We’ve also invited the Defendants repeatedly to show up in prior hearings…they either didn’t answer our questions or were no-shows.
