“City of Yes” Public Hearings

If you live in NYC and housing is an issue for you, then the City Council’s hearings on “City of Yes” Housing Text Amendments will be the most important hearing of the decade.

Unlike Mayor Eric Adams’ City Planning Commission’s hearings, which were staged to support the City of Yes and where pro-COY people were kept informed of their place in line, where as others were left in the dark, this hearing is live!

Yes, we are aware that most most people don’t even know about the COY, but they will feel it, sooner or later if they plan on living here in the next decade.

Yes, a lot of people are leaving and will continue to leave, but for all the folks who are staying, this is the big one!

It’s important to show up!!!

Upcoming – Monday & Tuesday, October 21 & 22, 2024 – NY City Council Hearings / Public Comment Period on the City of Yes Zoning Changes Legislation.

If you care about this city, this is legislation you’ll want to pay attention to as Mayor Adams is pushing a billionaire real estate and investor power grab agenda, that takes away power from local communities and transfers it to the Mayor’s Office, wealthy real estate developers and international investors.

To pay attention and get involved see – https://council.nyc.gov/land-use/

Unfortunately these days a few campaign funders seem to get preference over millions of voters, but there’s still a window of opportunity to make your voice, your neighbors and your community represented and heard.
